Great food (5 star quality without the 5 star prices). Olive bread appetizer was fantastic! Baked fresh on the premises. All courses delicious! Chef came to the table to make sure that we were satisfied with food and then sent another dessert on the house. (Fig tart [not Fig Newtons!!] made with fresh figs!! Recommend highly.) Excellent service; attentive but not overly solicitous. Excellent dessert menu. Family ambience. Live jazz sax on Friday p.m. The maitre d' doubles as singer. (He's not bad. ) Would definitely go again.

Recently found this great place in Thornhill... just outside of Toronto. Ambience is beautiful, decor is warm and welcoming. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Leon and he was an absolutely delightful person. Gave his personal attention to our group all night. The service was top-notch thank you to Boaz and Tamir who served us during our time at Mideastro. The food was so great I actually asked to meet the masterminds behind it all and thanks to Angelo and Benny, we had the best Moroccan platter, calamari, tapas, and tilapia. Just the thought of it makes me want to go back again! I would recommend it to everyone!

Service was prompt courteous and efficient. The food was simply outstanding . The lamb shanks were exquisitely prepared and full of wonderful flavours and aroma. I am surprised that I was able to get a reservation at short notice on a busy Saturday night. That will surely change if they maintain this standard. I have not had a better meal anywhere.
